IT'S ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL NEW YEAR IN THE CARIBBEAN
Fort Lauderdale, FL. – American Airlines added a second daily nonstop flight from Miami to St. Kitts. It is the second major Caribbean service increase from Miami for American, the other being the launch of daily service to Grenada late last year.
Delta has commenced service from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to Saint Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport. The new service will operate every Saturday with 160 seats available for passengers traveling to beautiful Saint Lucia
The classis Condado Vanderbilt hotel on Ashford Avenue in the Condado section of San Juan, Puerto Rico just opened. The totally renovated property offers 319 guest rooms and suites, five restaurants, a full-service Vanderbilt Spa with 10 treatment rooms and a Hammam, and a fitness center.
Gansevoort has opened a new hotel in Cabarete on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. The Gansevoort Playa Imbert has 48 suites consisting of one and two bedroom lofts, three bedroom apartments with private pools and terraces, and four bedroom penthouses each with a private rooftop Jacuzzi. The suites offer floor-to-ceiling windows providing breathtaking sea views, full kitchens, walk-in showers, bathtubs and stone finishes.

AM Resorts opened its first hotel in the US Virgin Islands, the Dreams Sugar Bay St. Thomas, the Caribbean's newest all-inclusive resort. The 297-room property is located on the northeastern end of St. Thomas and features seven a la carte dining options and restaurants, three bars and lounges, and a Dreams Spa.

Caribbean Airlines announced that, between January 15 and February 4, it will add a new daily nonstop flight between Trinidad and New York. It will also add a new daily departure on the Trinidad-New York route that will increase to three the number of daily nonstop flights in each direction. This means a total of 48 flights per week between New York and Trinidad. The carrier also announced increased service between Trinidad and London, bringing to four the number of weekly flights starting February 4.
