WINTER IS OFFICIALLY HERE, BUT NOT IN THE CARIBBEAN

Fort Lauderdale, FL. – Travel & Leisure Magazine announced its recommendations for the Best Places to Travel in 2016 and three Caribbean destinations are among them:

  • Canouan Grenadines, St. Vincent & the Grenadines
  • Havana, Cuba
  • Guadalajara, Mexico

Delta Air Lines announced new flights on Wednesdays from Atlanta to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The flights will be from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta to the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport in St. Croix.

The Caribbean Journal identified ten resorts in the Caribbean where guests can step out of their accommodations right into the water:

United Airlines now provides service from Newark to St. Kitts, a direct flight operating weekly on Saturdays. The carrier also launched two new nonstop flights to St. Lucia. One is a nonstop flight from Chicago on Saturdays, and the other is a weekly flight from Newark to St. Lucia on Sundays. Previously, United began nonstop service from Chicago to Grand Cayman on Saturdays as well as four times a weekly service from Washington Dulles to Grand Cayman.

United has also commenced a new nonstop route from Chicago to Providenciales in the Turks &Caicos Islands. The flights operate on Saturdays and will run at least through April 30.
