Fort Lauderdale, FL – Jade Mountain in St. Lucia has received the "Top Caribbean Resort Award" from Travel & Leisure Magazine. The award is given to hotels that define the very best in travel, voted by readers of the publication. Jade Mountain has been consistently recognized not only as one of the Caribbean's top luxury suite resorts, but also as one of the world's most unique tropical escapes.
JetBlue announced that, beginning December 2, it will launch service from New York to Curacao. The service will be offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays and will be the only nonstop service from New York to Curacao.
MSN has announced its candidates for the Ten Most Romantic Beaches For Honeymooners and four of them are in the Caribbean. Included in the MSN list are Aruba; Barbados; Riviera Maya, Mexico; and Harbour Island, Bahamas.
KLM announced that it will be adding flights to Curacao from Amsterdam. In addition to the current daily service, the airline said it will add flights on Mondays and Wednesdays. It said the additional flights are in response to demands from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, France, Sweden, Denmark and the United Kingdom, as well as Amsterdam.

Sunwing will commence nonstop service from Toronto to St. Lucia on October 25. The service will be on Saturdays, with the addition of Tuesday service from December 16 through April 28.
It has been announced that Blue Diamond Resorts has acquired the Smuggler's Cover Resort & Spa in St. Lucia. The all-inclusive beachfront resort is the fourth Caribbean brand acquired by the Canadian-based company, including Royalton, Memories and Grand Lido. The popular resort has more than 350 bungalow-type rooms, four restaurants, five bars and a spa just north of Castries, St. Lucia.
