Nightlife in The British Virgin Islands

This island offers a lot of nightlife combined with Caribbean culture. From dancing under the stars at the plentiful full-moon parties to sipping rum cocktails to the tune of live steel drums. The many hotels and restaurants offer nightly entertainment.

Head to Tortola, the largest island in the archipelago, to pay a visit to Road Town – the capital of the BVI. This lively town also happens to be the party capital of the archipelago, with live music and dancing throughout the bars and clubs until the early hours.

The Soggy Dollar Bar on the island of Jost Van Dyke is a popular spot where the famous Painkiller cocktail was created over 50 years ago. The bar’s name comes from its history of serving sailors who swam ashore from their anchored ships in need of some refreshment and entertainment

Great Harbor night kayaking is among the nighttime nature activities that prove life doesn’t stop at sundown on Jost Van Dyke island where you’ll climb into a clear-bottom kayak lit from below with LED lighting. It enables you to discover a new perspective of the islands, admiring the mesmerizing sea life. Your guides will safely lead you around the harbor, so you can watch in delight as turtles, rays, eels and tarpon swim just below you.

Enjoy a Sunset evening sail from Virgin Gorda, you’ll be whisked away from the marina of your choice on a catamaran, for an adventure that is both exciting and peaceful. The friendly staff are eager to show you precious sites along the way and discuss with you the history of the islands.
